Now that almost all the fashion shows for Spring-Summer 25 are behind us we look back at one of  the best shows of the season, namely the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 25 show in Paris. Nicolas  Ghesquières the creative director of Louis Vuitton womenswear, put on another high-profile show. 

Runway Decor

The show opened well right away, the dark room slowly lit up and hundreds of Louis Vuitton cases emerged from the ground forming themselves as a runway. Something iconic, of course. The first  models came running up in beautiful jackets with puff sleeves. The jackets were all different prints  such as stripes, flowers but also glitter. Ghesquière takes another trip through time with this  collection, this time to the Renaissance, an era he feels personally connected to because he grew up  in the French Loire Valley with its ancient castles. .

The details in this show are the statement pieces of this show. There are several accessories in each  look that complete the look. Nicolas Ghesquière wants to show a wardrobe full of contrasts and  versatile femininity with this collection. He shows this in the different textures, flowing fabrics and  prints. Thus, he also mixes with what used to be masculine influences such as the tie. Which he  shows in a number of looks in a casual way. 

One of the most common accessories in the collection is the long necklace. You can see these in  different variations such as with the LV logo, beads or colorful studs among others.
