Arnold and Son HMS
As the founder of the first chronometer, Arnold and Son had its fair share in maritime history. Now a part of The British Masters SA, their chronometers proved to be such an invaluable tool for the sailors during the 17th and 18th century. The launch of the Arnold and Son HMS is meant to celebrate this contribution to the advancement of naval technology. The name simply stands for the hours, minutes, and seconds functions although the HMSII models feature an additional date window at 3. Crafted from steel or 18k white or rose gold, the Arnold and Son HMS houses an automatic movement inside a round case that ranges in diameter from 40mm to 42mm. A handsome timepiece that would last several generations, women will also find their version in a smaller 34mm frame, with or without diamonds, just as solid and satisfying.
