Prada SS25 collection is here!

Etoile Luxury Vintage Designer Bags 2024 2025 Prada

Over the past few weeks you have been filled with content from fashion weeks. They are in fact in full swing with the Milan womens fashion week just behind us we look back at one of the high-profile shows of the week. Namely the Spring Summer collection of Prada. The Italian fashion house hit the catwalk with unique pieces. Let's take a look!

Runway

The spring/summer 2025 collection was held at the Deposito of Fondazione Prada in Milan. Miuccia Prada has been doing these shows for years and became co-creative director with Raf Simons in 2020. Who has previously been Creative Director at other major fashion houses. Together they create
high-profile shows and are often at the forefront when it comes to trends.
Besides showing many new futuristic looks, some items may also look familiar to you. They also delved into the Prada archive to bring back some iconic items in this show. Especially the shoes, such as the leather sandals from the SS 1996 collection or the chunky striped heels from the FW 2008 collection were items that also returned in this new SS25 show.

Details

The details of this show are perhaps the gems of this show. For example, many influences of futurism can be seen. Like for example in the pointy metallic shoes or in the large space glasses covering the entire face. Other details of the show were that there were influences of the 80 ́s to be seen such as colored tights, three-quarter skirts and floral prints. But one of the most recurring details in the looks
is metal. You can see this for example in the belts, futuristic glasses or metalic holes in the outfits. After this great SS show we are of course looking forward to the upcoming FW25 collection. We can expect it around February 2025!
