What bags were seen on the streets of Milan?

Fashion month is over. Yes, we're sad too that this perfect month to celebrate high couture has come to an end. But not everything is bad, because now we can talk about one of our favorite Fashion Week locations, MILAN! Let's take a look at what bags attended the glamorous event.

Fendi, Fendi and Fendi

This comes as no surprise since Fendi just celebrated their 25th anniversary of The Baguette. It was a pleasure to the eye seeing all the different versions of this iconic bag all around the streets of the Italian city. However, with their new super-mini-baguette, you really had to squint your eyes to see it!

Bamboo

One of our personal favorites, bags with bamboo details, made an appearance at Fashion Week. It might look simple, but with bamboo handles, it adds an elegant touch to a basic handbag. Did you think we would miss such an important occasion? Well, we grabbed our beloved Gucci Bamboo bag, and a good pair of red boots and we were ready for Fashion Week in Milan! 

Fur

As we already forecasted in our previous blog bag trends for fall 2022, many guests appeared with fur bags. If you're still debating whether to jump on this trend, we encourage you, because look how comfortable they are! It's a great way to soften an edgy look, and to add a touch of warmth to your outfit.

Balenciaga Hourglass Bag

The Hourglass Bag is currently considered the It-Bag, and we couldn't agree more. Despite being released 3 years ago, this uniquely shaped bag is here to stay, and its presence is always required in the most important events. Our top pick for MFW was this stunning graffiti-style Hourglass bag.

Knot bag

This one was a complete surprise to us. At Etoile, we love a good statement bag, those you can wear with a simple outfit to turn it into a total look. And when we saw the Knot handbag, we fell in love with it. With the handle being a big knot, the perfect brown for fall, and its already big size, it was the perfect addition to an all-black outfit.
