Louis Vuitton seems to have done the impossible by getting these two iconic football players to play a nice and classic game of chess. But the board game was anything but common, no, it was a Louis Vuitton trunk. They used the luxury brand's signature squares, known as Damier Ebene as spaces for their pieces.

This picture has gained over 70 million likes combined on their own Instagram accounts, sparkling "the conversation" as to who is the greatest football player, not only of the World Cup, but ever.

Louis Vuitton’s decision to bring Ronaldo and Messi together for a campaign is not only creative but also a brilliant strategy to gain media attention, reactions, and curiosity about why these iconic football players were paired in a game of chess.
