Style and comfort, the perfect combination ...
... Created through a collaboration between Dior and Birkenstock.
Kim Jones, the creative director of Dior, presented his fall/winter men’s collection during Paris Fashion Week. The designer surprised everyone, as Dior collaborated with the German brand BIRKENSTOCK for a new twist on the Tokio mules and the Milano sandals.
The Tokio clog
A signature BIRKENSTOCK model that adapts brilliantly to the shape and function of the foot with its unique design, was also reinterpreted for this collaboration.
The Milano Style
This reinterpretation of the Milano sandal appears in gray felt and is beautifully completed by a leather ankle strap and co-branded logo in the footbed.
The beautiful flowers are hand-embroidered and inspired by an haute-couture dress from the Dior collection of 1957.
The collaboration with BIRKENSTOCK is a tribute to Christian Dior, who had a passion for gardening, in which these collection support. The two types of Birkenstocks, the clog and the sandal, have also been given a twist with a different footbed, sole and felt material.
A dream collab, you might say, by combining ultimate comfort with a high fashion touch.
The sandals also feature signature details, such as rubber details and buckles; noticeable features also used on the iconic Dior Saddlebag (we have the lovely Dior Saddle Pochette version available on our web shop and in store). The soles are a combination of Dior's well-known motif with Birkenstock's signature bone pattern
In addition, they are available in the trendy color of the season: Dior grey. The Dior slippers are already available. Are you going for it or are you letting it go?
