Exactly, that's the question. What else do we need when we have the most iconic Chanel accessories?! Since its inception, Chanel has transformed the world of women's fashion from clothing to accessories, always with glamour, class and high-end. Throughout her career as a fashion designer, Chanel was known for creating accessories that contrasted beautifully with her minimalist designs: her jewelry designs could change the whole look. Cuff bracelets that replace shirt cuffs, beaded belts that perfectly adjust the waist or cleverly placed buckles that can change the shape and contour of a dress.

The iconic Chanel pearl necklace

Coco Chanel was rarely seen without a pearl necklace around her neck; she liked to mix jewelry made from fake materials with jewelry made from real materials. Thanks to her, wearing jewelry made from an impure marriage is now popular and people are not ashamed to wear it. It used to be different: before Chanel, wearing cheap jewelry was seen as an act of poverty. Chanel made (fake) pearls fashionable, and with that the iconic pearl necklace that we have seen so often.

In 1932, Chanel and Fulco di Verdura created a line of high jewelry called "Bijoux de diamants". This collection was a bit controversial because it only used real diamonds and didn't mix them with fake ones. But still they were so beautiful!

other iconic accessory that Chanel created together with Verdura was the white enamel bracelet with the Maltese cross made around the 1930s. Chanel loved the pieces very much and wore them constantly. That's why they made variations on the original.

Over the years, this item has been remodeled over and over, and today the most iconic versions are set on black or white jade cuffs.

Chanel's most iconic earring is the double C decal earring. The emblem was not only seen in earrings, in the 1990s the double-C emblem could be seen almost everywhere: on shoes, brooches, handbags, necklaces and of course also in the iconic earrings.

Chanel chose to make a brooch with a camellia flower because this flower is an odorless flower without thorns and its simplicity and purity was close to Coco Chanel's own philosophy. For this reason, there are many additions with the shapes of camellias, especially on brooches.

You see the camellia flower not only on jewelry and other accessories, but also as a piece of furniture and print on bags and other articles, bags and boxes that you receive when you buy a Chanel product and in diverse advertisements.
