THE BEST HIGH-END COLLABORATIONS OF 2020
Lots of big brands are collaborating recently. Collaborations from the designer brands Dior, Louis Vuitton and Prada happening in 2020 are the ones we want to highlight for you. See how luxury fashion blends in with street- and sportswear.
PRADA X ADIDAS
Prada and Adidas have joined forces to create a limited edition set featuring the Superstar silhouette and the Bowling Bag. Made in Italy, the sneaker features a clean, "Optic White" full grain leather upper and is stamped with co-branding. Complementing the shoe is a sporty and minimalist version of Prada's top handle bowling bag, which comes in a matching black and white color scheme.
Both brands have a history in which the love for sports and the love for pop culture are central. For example, the Superstar Adidas sneakers were released in 1969 as a basketball shoe, but were soon worn "casually" by icons such as Run DMC and Beastie Boys. Prada has created its own sports collection, now branded as Prada Linea Rossa, which has many outdoor sportswear and skiwear in the collection.

They are available in Triple black, white / black and metallic silver. 700 pairs came out, all handcrafted and made in the Prada factory in Italy. They are therefore very exclusive and will continue to increase in value.

DIOR X NIKE
Dior and Jordan unveiled their joint Air Jordan 1 at the Dior pre-fall 2020 show in Miami. Prior to the official debut, Travis Scott gave us a preview of a Dior sneakers through his Instagram Story. Since then, we've been treated to images of a low-profile version of the same shoe, as well as release information trickled down to us by a mix of Jordan Brand and Dior. Notorious leak accounts were faster to get the news out than Dior, Nike and Travis Scott.
Coinciding with the Air Jordan's 35th anniversary, the limited edition Air Jordan 1 High OG underscores the timeless appeal of the sneaker and Maison Dior's style. Designed using the same principles as a luxury bag, Kim Jones' goal was to create "the most luxurious Air Jordan 1 ever".

LOUIS VUITTON X NBA
The collaboration between Louis Vuitton and NBA is also legendary. The collection combines luxurious Louis Vuitton details with the red, white and blue NBA colors on a range of practical accessories, including the classic Keepall style, backpacks, messenger bags and more.
The designer, Virgil Abloh, drew inspiration for the collection from three major athlete settings: travel, game arrivals, and press conference. The 'travel' items include comfortable yet stylish sweatsuits in luxurious cashmere; "Game Arrival" includes casual and cool items like leather jackets and Monogram denim, while the "Press Conference" capsule features matching casual shoes and smarter loafer shoes. The accessory collection echoes this with a bag for every occasion, from training to clubbing.
